Which part of the brain is responsible for thermoregulation?

The hypothalamus is a section of the brain that controls thermoregulation. Thermoregulation is a biological process that helps the body to maintain its core internal temperature, which in turn helps in the maintenance of the homeostasis, a state of equilibrium. Healthy internal body temperature falls within a narrow window and if it's hampered, the body will fall sick. Hence, thermoregulation is absolutely necessary.
