Reptiles (except crocodiles) have a 3-chambered heart with two atria and a single ventricle. The left atrium receives oxygenated blood from the lungs/skin and the right atrium gets deoxygenated blood from other body parts. However, both the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood get mixed up in the single ventricle before being pumped out, resulting in an incomplete double circulation.
