$\mathrm{Mg}^{2+}+2 \mathrm{e}^{-} \longrightarrow \mathrm{Mg}$
2 F will deposit 1 mole Mg (i.e., 24 g of Mg) Hence, 0.4 F of electricity will be required to deposit 4.8 g of Mg from it's salt solution.
