$\mathrm{K}_{2} \mathrm{C}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{4} \Rightarrow(1 \times 2)+(\mathrm{x} \times 2)+(-2 \times 4)$ $=2+2 x-8$ $=2 x-6$ $\therefore x=+3$ $\therefore$ The oxidation number of $C=+3$
