What is order of reaction if unit of rate constant is $\mathrm{s}^{-1}$ ?
  1. 3
  2. 2
  3. 0
  4. 1

Solution

If order of $\mathrm{rx}^{\mathrm{n}}$ is $\mathrm{n}$ the unit of rate constant is $\mathrm{K}=\left(\frac{\mathrm{mol}}{\text { lit }}\right)^{1-\mathrm{n}} \mathrm{sec}^{-1}$ $\therefore 1-n=0$ or $n=1$
