Solution

Vessels occur in the wood (both primary and secondary xylem) of almost all angiosperms. But in some angiosperms like Dracaena, Yucca etc., they are absent. Vessels are also absent in the wood of most gymnosperms (except Gnetales) and pteridophytes.
