Along x-axis:

-10M12+10M12=Mv112-2Mv212
v12-2v2=5(2-1) … (2)
From equations (1) and (2)
v132+12=53+2+5(2-1)
v1=13.02m/s
v2=53+52-13.02×322
=19.72m s-1
