Solution

According to Rydberg equation: $\frac{1}{\lambda}=R\left(1-\frac{1}{n^2}\right)$ For first line, electron moves from $n=2$ to the lowest energy level of the electron. Therefore, corresponding wave no. is given by: $\frac{3 R}{4}$
