Solution

Acceleration due to gravity is given by $\mathrm{g}=\frac{\mathrm{GM}}{\mathrm{R}^2}$ As radius of earth at poles is minimum so, acceleration due to gravity will be maximum. Acceleration due to gravity at height $\mathrm{h}$ is given by $g^{\prime}=\frac{g}{\left(1+\frac{h}{R}\right)^2}$
