The slope of velocity-time graph for motion with uniform velocity is equal to

The slope of velocity-time graph for motion with uniform velocity is equal to
  1. initial velocity
  2. final velocity
  3. zero
  4. constant velocity

Solution

We know that, uniform velocity is independent of time. So in velocity-time graph, the graph will be drawn as straight line parallel to time axis.
Since, slope of line $=\tan \theta$ where $\theta$ be the angle with horizontal axis. $\therefore$ From graph, $\theta=0^{\circ}$ Hence, slope $=\tan 0^{\circ}=0$
