The rate constant for a zero order reaction A products is 0.0030 mol L-1 s-1. How long it will take for the initial concentration of A to fall from 0.10M to 0.075M?

Zero order reaction means that the rate of the reaction is proportional to zero power of the concentration of reactants.

Integrated rate equation for zero order reaction is given by the expression

k=R0-Rtt

Where, k=rate constant

t=time in seconds

R0=Initial concentration of the reactants

Rt=Concentration of the reactants after time, t.

t=R0-Rtk  =0.10-0.0750.0030=8.33 seconds
