Given circuit can also be drawn as,
By Kirchhoff's voltage law, $\begin{array}{ll} & \mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{A}}-(4 \times 3)-(5)-(2 \times 3)-\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{B}}=0 \\ \therefore \quad & \mathrm{~V}_{\mathrm{A}}-12-5-6-\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{B}}=0 \\ \therefore \quad & \mathrm{~V}_{\mathrm{A}}-\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{B}}=+23 \mathrm{~V} \end{array}$
