The output voltage in the following circuit is (Consider ideal diode case)

  3. $+5 \mathrm{~V}$
  4. $-5 \mathrm{~V}$

Solution

Here $D_1$ is reverse biased and $D_2$ is forward biased. Therefore current flow through $\mathrm{D}_{\mathrm{Q}}$ and 5 V drop on resistor.
So, $V_{\text {out }}=0$
