Hydrogen bond is simply dipole-dipole attraction within oppositely partially charged ends. In HF molecule, electronegativity difference is remarkable, due to which it behaves as a dipole. In the gaseous state several HF molecules polymerises through $\mathrm{H}$-bonding.
