Solution

The equation of pair of straight lines is $x^2-y^2-x+3 y-2=0$ This equation can be rewritten as $(x-y+1)(x+y-2)=0$ $\therefore$ The equation of lines which are represented by the given equation, are $x-y+1=0 \text { and } x+y-2=0 .$
