The inductive reactance of coil is $\mathrm{R}$. If the inductance of a coil is doubled and frequency of a.c. supply is also doubled then then new inductive reactance will

Solution

Inductive reactance $=\mathrm{R}=2 \pi \mathrm{fL}$ If $\mathrm{L}$ and $\mathrm{f}$ both are doubled, the inductive reactance will become $4 R$
