The image of the point 3,4 with respect to the radical axis of the circles x2+y2+8x+2y+10=0 and x2+y2+7x+3y+10=0 is

Solution

Given,

 S1≡x2+y2+8x+2y+10=0 and S2≡x2+y2+7x+3y+10=0,

Now we know that radical axis is given by S1-S2 

So, S1-S2≡x-y=0

So image of point 3,4 in line y=x will be 4,3
