The image of the line $x+y-2=0$ in the $y$-axis is
  1. $x-y+2=0$
  2. $y-x+2=0$
  3. $x+y+2=0$
  4. $x+y-2=0$

Solution

Equation of $A^{\prime} B$ is $(y-0)=\frac{2-0}{0+2}(x+2)$
$y-0=1(x+2)$ $x-y+2=0$ which is the image of the line $A B$ with respect to $y$-axis.
