The equation of a line passing through the point of intersection of the lines $-2 y+8=0$ and $3 x-y+4=0$ and having $x$ and $y$ intercept zero is
- $4 x-5 y=0$
- $5 x-4 y=0$
- $5 x+4 y=0$
- $4 x+5 y=0$
Solution
$\begin{array}{l}
x+2 y+8=0 \\
3 x-y+4=0
\end{array}$
Solving we get; $x=\frac{-16}{7} ; y=\frac{-20}{7}$
line passing through $(0,0) \&\left(\frac{-16}{7}, \frac{-20}{7}\right) \&$ having $x$ \& $y$ intercept $5 x-4 y=0$
