Solution

For any standard hyperbola we know that

eccentricity, e=1+b2a2, conjugate axis =2b and distance between the foci =2ae.

Given,  2b=122ae

ba=e2

Now, e= 1+b2a2= 1+e24

  e2=1+e24

  34e2=1

  e2=43

  e=23
