The correct order of melting points of $\mathrm{Al}, \mathrm{Ga}, \mathrm{In}$ is
  1. $\mathrm{Ga} < \mathrm{In} < \mathrm{Al}$
  2. In $ < \mathrm{Ga} < \mathrm{Al}$
  3. $\mathrm{Al} < \mathrm{Ga} < \mathrm{In}$
  4. $\mathrm{Ga} < \mathrm{Al} < $ In

Solution

The melting points of group 13 elements follow the order:- $\mathrm{B}>\mathrm{Al}>\mathrm{Tl}>\mathrm{In}>\mathrm{Ga}$ This is due to strong crystalline structure of B and soft metallic nature of the rest of the metals. Gallium has unusually low melting point due to very high electro positivity.
