The correct order of atomic radii of given elements is

The correct order of atomic radii of given elements is
  1. $\mathrm{B} \lt \mathrm{Be} \lt \mathrm{Mg}$
  2. $\mathrm{Mg} \lt \mathrm{Be} \lt \mathrm{B}$
  3. $\mathrm{Be} \lt \mathrm{B} \lt \mathrm{Mg}$
  4. $\mathrm{B} \lt \mathrm{Mg} \lt \mathrm{Be}$

Solution

In periodic table atomic radii decrease from left to right and increase from top to bottom. Mg is placed in 3 rd period and $\mathrm{Be}, \mathrm{B}$ are in second period so, Mg have more atomic radii then Be and B .
