The converse of "If 3 is a prime number, then 3 is odd." is
  1. If 3 is odd then it is a prime number.

Solution

Let $\mathrm{p}: 3$ is a prime number, $\mathrm{q}: 3$ is odd Given statement is $\mathrm{p} \rightarrow \mathrm{q}$. $\therefore \quad$ converse is $\mathrm{q} \rightarrow \mathrm{p}$ i.e., If 3 is odd then it is a prime number.
