Benzene has the molecular formula of C6H6.

Combustion reaction of benzene :-

C6H6 + 152O2 6CO2 +3H2O

By the reaction, we can see that one mole of benzene on combustion gives the six mole of carbondioxide and three moles of water.

Mole of carbondioxide = 6

Molar mass of carbondioxide = 44 g/mol

Given mass of the carbondioxide = mole×molar mass=6×44=264 g

Hence, the complete combustion of one mole of benzene produces 264 grams of carbon dioxide.
