Solution

y-x=2,x2=y

Now, x2=2+x

⇒x2-x-2=0

⇒x+1x-2=0⇒x=-1,2

Required area=∫-122+x-x2dx

=2x+x22-x33-12

=4+2-83--2+12+13

=6-3+2-12=92 square units
