Solution

x2+y2-2x+4y-11=0

Let the angle between tangents=2θ

Now, tanθ=rLT 

where r is the radius of the circle and LT is the length of tangent from the given point.

Here LT=S1=12+32-2+12-11

=3

r=12+22+11=4

i.e. tanθ=43

tan2θ=2×431-169=83-79=-247

sin2θ=2425

2θ=sin-1(2425)
