Solution

A rise in the pCO2 or fall in pH(High H+ ion concentration) decreases oxygen affinity of haemoglobin, raising the P50 value. This is called Bohr effect.

Decrease in pH increases acidity of the blood that results in dissociation of oxygen and Hb which occurs in the body tissues.
