Tropical rain forest shows stratification, where the distribution of plants is more and with many layers. Each layer or storey will be comprised with different fauna. Upper storeys have birds, insects, bats, monkeys, lemurs, tree frogs, lizards and anteaters. Hence, most of the animals are tree dwellers in tropical rain forests.
