Metal rings ' $\mathrm{P}^{\prime}$ and ' $Q$ ' are lying in the same plane where current 'I' is increasing
steadily. The induced current in metal rings is shown correctly in figure
Solution
The magnetic field through ring $P$ is in outward direction and increasing. According to Lenz's law, the induced current will try to decrease this for which it will be in clockwise direction and produce field in inward direction.
The field through the ring $Q$ is increasing in inward direction, hence the include current will be in anticlockwire direction which will produce field in outward direction.
