Given,

ABCD be a quadrilateral. If E and F are the mid points of the diagonals AC and BD respectively and AB- BC+AD-DC=k FE,

Now plotting the diagram we get,

Now let position vector of A, B, C and D are a, b, c and d respectively

Now by midpoint formula,

Position vector of E=OC+OA2=c+a2

And Position vector of F=b+d2

Now, AB-BC+AD-DC

b-a-c-b+d-a-c-d

2b-2a-2c+2d

2b+d-2a+c

4b+d2-a+c2=4OF-OE

4EF=-4FE

 k=-4
