Let a,b and c be the lengths of the sides of a triangle with its opposite angles A,B and C respectively. If a=3, b=4 and A=sin-134, then the angle B is
  1. 30°
  2. 45°
  3. 90°
  4. 60°

Solution

Given, a=3b=4

and A=sin-1(34)sinA=34

Using sine rule, we get

aSinA= bsinB

 sinB=bsinAa

sinB=4×343

sin B=1

B= sin-1 (1)

B=90°.
