Given,

a and b be two vectors such that a=1, b=4 and ab=2.

Also, given

c=2a×b3b

Taking dot product with b both side we get,

bc=2a×bb3b2

bccosα=03b2

ccosα=12 {as b=4}

Now, solving ab=2

abcosθ=2

cosθ=12θ=π3

Now, solving

c2=2a×b3b2

c2=64×34+144=192

Now, squaring both side of ccosα=12 we get,

c2cos2α=144

192cos2α=144

1921-sin2α=144

192sin2α=48
