Solution
$
\left\{\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^{-1}\times(-4)^{-1}\right\}
$
$
=\left\{\left(2\right)^1\times\left(\frac{1}{-4}\right)^1\right\}=\left(2\times\frac{1}{-4}\right)^{-1}
$
$
=\left(\frac{-1}{2}\right)^{-1}=(-2)^1=-2
$
