We know that Le-Chatelier principle is not applicable for solid-solid equilibrium because the activities of pure solids and liquids are equal to one. Pure solids and liquids are excluded in the equilibrium constant expression. This is due to the fact that they do not affect the amount of reactant in equilibrium state during the reaction, so they are neglected and kept at one. Therefore, adding or removing a solid from a system at equilibrium has no effect on the position of equilibrium.
