In which of the following molecule/ion, all the bonds are not equal?

In which of the following molecule/ion, all the bonds are not equal?
  1. \(\mathrm{XeF}_4\)
  2. \(\mathrm{BF}_4^{-}\)
  3. \(\mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_4\)
  4. \(\mathrm{SiF}_4\)

Solution

In \(\mathrm{XeF}_4, \mathrm{BF}_4^{-}\)and \(\mathrm{SiF}_4\) only one type of covalent bonds are present, which are \(\mathrm{Xe}-\mathrm{F}, \mathrm{B}-\mathrm{F}\) and \(\mathrm{Si}-\) F respectively. In \(\mathrm{C}_2 \mathrm{H}_4\), two types of covalent bonds are present, which are \(\mathrm{C}=\mathrm{C}\) and \(\mathrm{C}-\mathrm{H}\). which are not equal for any property.
