Solution

$V_{\mathrm{AB}}=10 \mathrm{V}$$\therefore V_{\mathrm{BC}}=5 \mathrm{V}$, the current in $R_1= I_1=\frac{5}{500}$
$\Rightarrow I_1=10 \mathrm{mA}$. Current in $R_2= I_2=\frac{10}{1500}$$\Rightarrow I_2=\frac{20}{3}mA$

Current in zener diode = $I_1- I_2=\left(10-\frac{20}{3}\right) \mathrm{mA}=\frac{10}{3} \mathrm{mA}\mathrm{ }$
