In the figure is shown a system of four capacitors connected across a 10 V battery. The charge that will flow from switch S when it is closed is:

Finally when switch is closed, 



q1=2×5=10 μC

q2=3×5=15 μC

The total charge on dotted region =q2-q1

=15-10=5 μC
