\({ }_{92}^{238} U \xrightarrow{{ }_2 H e^4}{ }_{90}^{234} \mathrm{Th} \xrightarrow{{ }_{-1} e^o}{ }_{91}^{234} \mathrm{~Pa} \xrightarrow{{ }_{-1} e^o}{ }_{92}^{234} Z \xrightarrow{{ }_2 \mathrm{He}^4}{ }_{90}^{230} \mathrm{Th}\) \(x_1=\alpha\) since positively charged so, will attracted by negative plate. \(x_2=\beta\) negatively charged and attracted by positive plate \(x_3=\beta\) negatively charged and attracted by positive plate \(x_4=\alpha\) since positively charged so, will attracted by negative plate. \(\mathrm{U}\) and \(\mathrm{Z}\) have the same atomic number so they are isotope.
