In LC parallel resonance circuit, choose the wrong statement
In LC parallel resonance circuit, choose the wrong statement
- Resonance occurs when inductive and capacitive reactance is same.
- At resonance, current is maximum.
- At resonance, impedance is minimum.
- At resonance, resonant frequency $=\sqrt{\mathrm{LC}}$
Solution
Concept based.
Resonance occurs when inductive and capacitive reactance is same.
$\begin{aligned} & X_C=X_L \\ & \Rightarrow \omega L=\frac{1}{\omega C} \\ & \Rightarrow \omega=\frac{1}{\sqrt{L C}} \\ & \therefore f=\frac{1}{2 \pi \sqrt{L C}}\end{aligned}$
