In a forward bias arrangement of a p-n junction diode, the
  1. p-region is connected to the positive terminal of battery.
  2. n-region is connected to the positive terminal of battery.
  3. p-region is connected to negative terminal of battery.
  4. p-region is connected to negative terminal of the battery.

Solution

The positive terminal of the battery is connected to the p-region of a p-n junction diode, and the negative terminal is connected to the n -region. The p-region of the diode is where conventional current flows and the n -region is where it exits.
