$\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{A} \cap \mathrm{B})=\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{A} \cup \mathrm{B})$ $=\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{u})-\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{A} \cup \mathrm{B})$ $=\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{u})-\{\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{A})+\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{B})-\mathrm{n}(\mathrm{A} \cap \mathrm{B})\}$ $=700-\{200+300-100\}=300$
