If the sum of the coefficients in the expansion of (x+y)n is 4096, then the greatest coefficient in the expansion is _____.

Solution

Sum of coefficients of the expression (x+y)n is 2n

2n=4096=212

n=12 

Now greatest binomial coefficient of the expression(x+y)n is the middle term's coefficient so C6n=C612=924
