If the eccentricity of a hyperbola is 53, then the eccentricity of its conjugate hyperbola is

Let the eccentricity of hyperbola and conjugate hyperbola be e1 & e2respectively. Then,

1e12+1e22=1

1532+1e22=1

925+1e22=1

1e22=1-925

1e22=1625

e2=±54

But, eccentricity of hyperbola is never less than one. Hence, e2=54.
