If the distance $s$ travelled by a particle in time $t$ is given by $s=t^2-2 t+5$, then its acceleration is
  1. 0
  2. 1
  3. 2
  4. 3

Solution

Given, $s=t^2-2 t+5$ On differentiating w.r.t., $t$ we get $\frac{d s}{d t}=2 t-2$ Again differentiating, we get $\frac{d^2 s}{d t^2}=2$
