If the constant term in the binomial expansion of x522-4xl9 is -84 and the coefficient of x-3l is 2αβ where β<0 is an odd number, then αl-β is equal to _____ .

Given,

The constant term in the binomial expansion of x522-4xl9 is -84 and the coefficient of x-3 is 2αβ

Now General Term of the binomial is given by, Tr+1=Cr9x5229-r-4xlr=-1rCrx452-5r2-lr23-9

Now for constant term 45-5r-2lr=0r=455+2l

So, coefficient of constant term will be,

-19×9Cr23r-9=-84r=3

Now putting the value of r in r=455+2l we get, l=5

Now coefficient of x-3l=x-15452-5r2-lr=-15r=5   when l=5
Now coefficient of x-15=-159 C526=-6327=β2α

Hence, on comparing we get, α=7, β=-63 & l=5

So, the value of  α l-β=7×5--63=98
