If the area of the region x , y : x 2 - 2 ≤ y ≤ x is A , then 6 A + 16 2 is equal to…

If the area of the region x,y:x2-2yx is A, then 6A+162 is equal to ______________

Solution

Given,

x2-2y & yx

Now on finding the intersection point we get, x,y1,1 & 2,2

Now plotting the curve of the above function we get,

Now from above diagram required bounded area will be,

A=12x-2-x2dx+22x-x2-2dx

A=x22-2x+x3312+x22-x33+2x22

A=1-22+223-12-2+13+2-83+4-1-223+22

A=92-823

6A=27-162

  6A+162=27
