Given that sinα-cosα=m and sin2α=n-m2, where -2m2

We know that, sin2α=2sinαcosα

2sinαcosα=n-sinα-cosα2

2sinαcosα=n-sin2α-cos2α+2sinαcosα

n=sin2α+cos2α

Now, We know that, sin2α+cos2α=1

n=1
