Given,

Differentiating, both sides w.r.t x,

ddxlog1+x2-x=ddxy1+x2

11+x2-xddx1+x2-x=1+x2dydx+yd1+x2dx

11+x2-xx1+x2-1=1+x2dydx+xy1+x2
Multiplying by 1+x2 both the sides,

1+x2×11+x2-xx1+x2-1=1+x2dydx+xy

1+x2dydx+xy=1+x2×11+x2-x×1+x2-x1+x2=-1
