If A and B simultaneously toss one coin each every time, each 50 times, then the probability of not getting tail on both the coins is
  1. $\left(\frac{3}{4}\right)^{50}$
  2. $\left(\frac{2}{3}\right)^{50}$
  3. $\left(\frac{1}{3}\right)^{50}$
  4. d) $\left(\frac{1}{2}\right)^{50}$

Solution

$S=\{(T, T),(H, H),(T, H),(H, T)\}$. Probability of not getting tail $=\frac{3}{4}$ $\therefore$ The required probability $=\left(\frac{3}{4}\right)^{50}$
