If a → and b → are perpendicular, then a → × a → × a → × a…

If a and b are perpendicular, then a×a×a×a×b is equal to:
  1. a4b
  2. 0
  3. a×b
  4. 12a4b

Solution

a·b=0

a×a×b=a·ba-a·ab=-a2b

Now a×a×-a2b

=-a2a×a×b

=-a2-a2b=a4b
